This is a moodboard I created using front covers of Kerrang. Kerrang music magazine covers the genre of Rock music. I noticed a consistence colour theme throughout the covers of the magazine. However, before I designed my front cover I tried to emulate the Kerrang magazine in terms of their artists protrayed on the front cover. As you can see many of their artists are presented singing with their musical instruments ( with this genre of rock music the instruments are shown are mainly guitars).
It is clear the first glimpse of the front cover would need to protray a clear Rock genre of music. I have tried to manipulate the mise en scene with my front cover. Getting my artist to pose with his guitar. I encountered some problems during the process. As ive mentioned before ideally I would have liked to taken the photographs elsewhere with a better background, however due to the difficulties with my initial pictures I believe I still produced a decent display of pictures.
